It helps you to look at economic class and be able to see that systemically, to see the environments of economic class and how that has an impact on us. It has an impact on our lens and how we form our lives and the decisions we make. As well as many other environments and populations that we belong to: our culture, our gender, our religion. We are just so full of different thoughts and ideas and perspectives because we have different experiences of different environments.
What’s cool about Bridges is that it just breaks out the economic class environment and helps us to analyze that. And the goal of using this lens, first of all, is to identify your own lens. I grew up the in Steel Belt, which is now called the Rust Belt…
